Supporting South Africa’s overburdened testing services

Dr Robyn Marshall, Medical Director at Oncolab, says,

We started testing COVID-19 last year to allow an improvement in turn-around-time on the test results for patients being admitted to hospital. Our service has now been expanded to heed the call from government to assist with the massive increased demand for testing in peak periods.

Safety is our primary concern at our testing facility. Our facility is being run in accordance with rigorous international guidelines. The testing facility is a drive-through facility and you will not be required to exit your car.

In providing COVID-19 tests to the public, we have ensured the strictest risk mitigation strategies are in place.

Our testing team wear the required PPE (personal protective equipment) clothing to safeguard your safety.

They are wearing a face mask

They observe social distance as outlined in our facility

They use the hand sanitisers provided!
